I SURRENDER

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” – Romans 12:1

We have to release our control and choose to trust God’s perfect plan for our life. Surrender means that we no longer strive to hold on to things that don’t belong to us or try to carry burdens that He never meant for us to bear. It’s a reminder that true peace and freedom are found in trusting God fully, even when life feels uncertain. To surrender to God is to let go of our own desires, plans, and control and embrace His will with open hands. It’s saying, “Lord, not my will, but Yours be done.” It’s trusting that He knows what’s best for us, even when we don’t understand the journey. Forfeiting control is an act of faith—believing that God’s way is always better than our own, and that His love, wisdom, and timing are perfect. Surrendering to God is about choosing humility over pride, obedience over rebellion, and faith over fear. It’s not a sign of weakness, but of strength—because true strength is found in yielding to God’s guidance. We don’t have to have all the answers, we just need to trust in the One who does.
